I’ve started a Mind Map on Mind Meister to outline how I will approach the Pie in the Park Cookbook.

Rather than being a straight-up cookbook of pie recipes, the book will tell a story - of pie, of family and of connections between people. 

I’m going to talk about the origins of pie in the US and abroad, the history of how Pie in the Park came to be, my personal history with food, give an overview of pie tool basics (I use all vintage accouterments, because I’m cool like that), have recipes of both sweet and savory pies, a guide to some of my favorite crust recipes and Q and As with the bakers on their history with both eating and pie.
