It seems that every where I look lately, I see pie.

My plans this weekend include food trips to the Hester Street Market to sample Alison Kave’s ‘First Prize Pies’ - one of which will be featured in the Pie in the Park book - and to Four and Twenty Blackbirds in Gowanus - a lovely new pie shop.

Also, I think I’m going to start making pies, from fruit and veggies bought from the Ft. Greene market on Saturdays, and giving them out in the park on Sundays. My plan is to get people excited about pie (which isn’t very difficult) and get them excited about Pie in the Park and the Pie in the Park book AND the Pie in the Park Kickstarter project.
