Vintage silverware (also, there’s pie).

Today I met a friend and fellow freelancer at Four & Twenty Blackbirds; we set up our laptops, grabbed some pie (I got their signature Salted Caramel Apple), and spent the time working and chatting. The bakery uses vintage mismatched silverware, which I love—it feels fancy without being stuffy. At home our flatware is of the IKEA stainless steel variety, and most of it is now scratched and bent. So when I hit up the Brimfield Antique Show this July, silver flatware will be at the top of my list.

I love the pie shop Four and Twenty Blackbirds.

Besides making great pie, they also know how to accessorize.
