Vintage silverware (also, there’s pie).
Today I met a friend and fellow freelancer at Four & Twenty Blackbirds; we set up our laptops, grabbed some pie (I got their signature Salted Caramel Apple), and spent the time working and chatting. The bakery uses vintage mismatched silverware, which I love—it feels fancy without being stuffy. At home our flatware is of the IKEA stainless steel variety, and most of it is now scratched and bent. So when I hit up the Brimfield Antique Show this July, silver flatware will be at the top of my list.I love the pie shop Four and Twenty Blackbirds.
Besides making great pie, they also know how to accessorize.
A great plate and cool vintage silverware is key.
